Financial Analyst
Duties:
- Provide high-level administrative support to a staff of approximately fifteen people and assure the
- Create a filing system for each contract, which includes the base contract, modifications and
- Maintain and provide monthly updates of the financial accounting status reports for all active
contracts for the construction program to assist NPS personnel with assuring contracts are performed
on time, within scope and within budget.- Maintain general accounting logs of the expenditures of the construction program and work directly with
the National Park Service Liaison to the White House Budget Officer to provide accounting information to
track spending for the construction program.- Provide timely status information to WHLO Assistant Director and project managers on contract issues

construction program.- Performs risk assessments and risk analysis to solve construction problem.
- Assists CMRs in developing reports to provide advice to project team of any foreseeable problems that
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment. Purchase and maintain office equipment and
- Schedule maintenance service on equipment (copiers, printers, and shredders) and Government
- Perform annual Government Furnished Equipment and Government Furnished Property inventories.
- Identify property/equipment that is obsolete and prepare Certificate of Unserviceable Property.
- Receive, log-in, distribute, and/or destroy classified documentation and drawings in accordance with
- Scan and/or copy various size drawings, both unclassified and classified.
- Distribute classified materials in accordance with directions from the WHLO Security Officer and
- Interact with United States Secret Service (USSS) personnel and purchase required supplies for the
- Type reports, correspondence, memoranda, transmittal sheets, briefing slides, purchase requisitions,
schedules, construction logs, and other documents as may be identified.
Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the US.
Education/Certification and Experience Required:
Minimum 4+ year Bachelor’s degree in Business, or other related field from accredited college or university with a minimum of 5 or more years of relevant work experience in an office administration / management assistant environment – OR – 2 year Associate degree in business or a related field and 10 years relevant work experience in an office administration / management assistant environment
The FA shall be computer literate, knowledgeable in accounting practices and be proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. FA shall have the ability to learn and utilize Government and commercial databases such White House Draw, Financial and Business Management System (FBMS), AFS4, NPS Help Desk Ticket, Concur Travel, GSA Advantage, and NASA SEWP.The FA shall provide financial accounting support, along with administrative and clerical support, to the construction management and design team.
