Workday Recruiting Functional Lead - Robert Half

Serve as the HCMS partner supporting designated Recruiting areas in Workday, including job requisitions, job postings, candidate management, offer approvals, and interview scheduling.
  • Provide consultation to Business Partners, building domain knowledge, gathering requirements, providing solutions and impact analysis
  • Serve as subject matter expert on current and upcoming Workday capabilities
  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use Workday
  • Configure, test, validate, and implement Business Process changes in Workday
  • Assist in testing of integrations, security, annual events
  • Assist in the creation of user-friendly training materials and delivering training sessions for recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Serve as an escalation resource for Tier 2 & 3 issues
  • Provide input and knowledge sharing with Workday Team Lead, Workday Team Members, and clients as appropriate
  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training in order to improve policy and process acumen
  • Identify inefficiencies in recruiting workflows and implement Workday-driven improvements.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional colleagues and IT
  • Familiarity with recruiting regulations, such as EEOC, OFCCP, GDPR, and local labor laws, to ensure compliant hiring practices.
  • Strong understanding of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution
  • Experience with integrations between Workday Recruiting and external tools, such as job boards, LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems, and background check vendors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Workday HCM experience or training preferred
  • Recruiting functional and system experience preferred
