About the role:

The ideal candidate has keen attention to detail and a passion for clothing. The Merchandising Assistant is organized and hardworking with the ability to perform all functions of the job quickly and efficiently. They are excited to continue to learn and develop new skills with an aptitude to learn quickly and adapt in a growing environment.

What you’ll do:

• Maintain the Merchandising team’s database tools, including but not limited to the product lifecycle management system (PLM), enterprise planning system (ERP), Shopify, selling templates and reports, and assortment sheets
• Organize, track, and distribute samples for full product development lifecycle
• Partner with the Design and Product Development teams to track & communicate changes to products throughout the development cycle by managing the daily change log
• Work cross functionally with the brand marketing team to manage photoshoot assets and assist with photoshoot needs
• Collaborate with operations and allocations teams to track and communicate PO deliveries
• AssistMerchandising team with preparation of product and presentation documents for milestone meeting setup and takedown (Sketch Review, Line Review, Investment Review), as well as special meetings like Board Meetings and Store Manager Summits

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with a deep interest in retail merchandising/buying and a passion for product
• Retail experience in apparel is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
• Precise attention to detail, with established time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain a high level of enthusiasm, motivation and a positive attitude in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Capability to build strong partnerships and to work collaboratively to achieve goals, including resolving conflict to get to a decision
• Ability and willingness to travel
