Responsibilities:
Position Summary:
Participates as a member of the Health Care team working with professional non-professional staff and associated professionals in providing care which provides optimum home care and continuity of care to referred patients addressing the age of the patients served.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupation Therapy
- Must have current California licensure
- Ability to function independently and autonomously
- Knowledge and ability to perform an Occupational Therapy assessment
- Knowledge of principles concepts and modalities and methodology required of an Occupational Therapist
- Ability to operate and demonstrate the use of equipment for occupational therapy care
- Ability to teach and instruct patients caregivers and staff
- Must have current BLS certification (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year experience as an occupational therapist. 6 months to one year home health experience preferred
