This is an outside, part-time, weekends-only position at our mobile vaccine clinics.
Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:
- Clean and straighten pop-up clinic tables to prepare for walk-in patients
- Knowledge of infectious and common zoonotic diseases
- Safe and effective patient handling and restraint
- Anticipate the needs of the doctor for basic prevention visits and follow doctors' requests
- Take temperatures weight, draw up vaccines, prepare flea/tick medication/prevention, etc.
