Lead Industrial Mechanic

Our client, a leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing, is currently seeking a highly skilled Lead Industrial Mechanic to oversee their third-shift maintenance team at the Lebanon, PA facility.

The Lead Industrial Mechanic will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and repair of all production machinery, mechanical equipment, and building systems while leading a team of mechanics to ensure efficient and timely execution of all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and building systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Lead and manage a team of mechanics, providing guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure team efficiency and skill development.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for third-shift maintenance issues, making real-time decisions to resolve equipment failures or emergencies.
• Lead larger maintenance projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production, to plan, execute, and complete work efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems, with a strong focus on motors, drive systems, and industrial measurement tools such as flow meters.
• Maintain documentation for all repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, and team performance, ensuring records are up-to-date and compliant with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to implement improvements in maintenance processes and contribute to long-term equipment reliability planning.
• Act as a mentor and trainer for junior mechanics, facilitating skills development in areas such as welding, plumbing, and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety standards and contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.
