Process Engineer needed for a client located near Greenville South Carolina. Looking for someone who can improve processes and has a background in automation,robotics and machinery. Salary for this role will be based on experience.

responsibilities:
- Programming Horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines / CNC lathes
- Work with quality engineers to find and fix root causes in case of customer complaints.
- Setting up process to ensure production, delivery and quality meets all specifications.
- Develops machining process, designs fixtures and machining tools in cooperation with headquarters.
- Responsible for achievement of company goals with regards to quality and productivity. This includes tracking, monitoring charts and assessing, developing and following through with necessary action plans.
- Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, summarizing information and trends.
- Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Assures compliance with approved methods and quality standards.
- Set-up of production equipment and machining cells to meet customer timing and quality together with setup technicians.
- Training of set-up technicians on existing and new production systems/processes.
- Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians.
- Set-up daily inspection and adjustments on fixtures and tools
- Preparation of maintenance schedules for equipment as per the manufacturers recommendation.
- Overall Equipment Effectiveness, housekeeping, scrap and overtime through proper maintenance of the equipment and the building.
- Coordination of installation of production equipment and production cells to meet customer timing and quality
- Improve cycle times and reduce scrap rates.
