Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Medical Assistant in Kissimmee, FL! This role is in person / onsite. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:
Type: Three-month contract, with opportunity for extension or full-time offerSchedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with one hour lunch
Pay: $20.00 to $24.00 an hour
Specialty: Primary Care
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
- Assist Physician with injections and EKG's
- Chart prep, room patients, scanning/faxing records, phone intake calls and other duties as assigned
- Organize, stock and clean exam rooms
- Perform PT/INR's
- Maintain quality control standards
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
- National or Registered Medical Assistant Certification
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Have 2+ years experience as a medical assistant or related experience in a medical setting
- Strong medical Terminology and insurance knowledge
- ICD-9/10 and CPT coding experience
- eCW experience
- Weekly Pay
