The Transportation Manager supervises daily transportation activities and personnel to ensure functions are performed according to our standards and guidelines.
You will work from Monday - Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with the ability to be flexible on work hours/shifts.

Responsibilities:
You will:
- Responsible for leading and/or influencing a team to optimal performance. Provide consistent coaching while maintaining morale and the overall development of team members and drivers.
- Responsible for managing the P&L in the budgeting, forecasting and execution cycles.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations
- Promote a safety culture and ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies, providing consistent application in all aspects of discipline. Ensures all hiring practices and training is complete and to standard. Enforces driver log accuracy, medical cards/licensing and execution of the company’s policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications:
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent work experience
- Previous experience in transportation, preferably with a related industry
- Supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Class A driver's license is preferred
- Thorough knowledge of material handling equipment and traffic management.
- A good working knowledge of government regulations about transportation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- A working knowledge of Smartdrive and Roadnet is a plus
