Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage financial transactions accurately.
• Assist with payroll functions and ensure timesheets are reconciled promptly.
• Process physical checks with precision and efficiency.
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks.
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Manage billing functions and ensure they align with accounting standards.
• Efficiently process invoices in accordance with company procedures.
• Respond to client calls promptly, providing accurate information and resolving inquiries.
• Perform data entry tasks as required, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Be responsible for scheduling tasks, ensuring effective time management.

HR-Related Duties:

• Update and maintain employee files, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist with new hire onboarding processes, including paperwork completion and orientation.
• Coordinate with HR team to ensure timely completion of employee-related tasks.
• Handle employee inquiries and provide support as needed.

General Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end and year-end closings.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports as required.
• Collaborate with other team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential
• Strong understanding of Accounting Functions required
• Must be adept in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
• Experience in Billing Functions is a must
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is required
