Kitchen Aide

Under the supervision of the Head Chef, the Kitchen Aide performs general cooking duties and assist with all paperwork for the Senior Center to ensure nutritional compliance.
The pay rate is $18.00/hr KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-High school diploma/GED required.-Physical ability to perform manual work.-NY Food Handler Certificate required.-Bi-lingual (Spanish) speaking.
Must be able to read, write, and understand regulations in English.

-Ensures the Kitchen is clean and clutter free.-Assists with meal preparation.-Responsible for checking food temperature with head chef.-Operate the dishwashing machine.-Load rack, wash and air dry dishes, and store them in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner.-Wash pots and pans.
