ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Product Manager at Audible, you will be responsible for evolving Audible's membership plans and subscription offerings. This role requires deep expertise in managing consumer subscription products, with a focus on driving growth, retention, and customer satisfaction.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to assess market trends, identify new opportunities, and deliver impactful updates to Audible's subscription model.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced product manager with a proven track record of success in the consumer subscription space. You have deep experience with subscription business models: perhaps having developed a SaaS model at an early-stage startup or having led the launch of new subscription product within a larger organization.

Your strong stakeholder management skills allow you to align diverse teams, from business to technology, around a shared vision. You are data-driven, with the ability to establish and measure key performance metrics. Most importantly, you are passionate about understanding and meeting the evolving needs of Audible's global customer base.

As a Senior Product Manager - Tech, you will...
  • Leverage your expertise in subscription models to assess Audible's current membership plans and identify opportunities for improvement or expansion
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, finance, and technology teams, to develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for Audible's subscription offerings
  • Use data-driven insights to inform your decision-making, continuously testing and iterating on new subscription features or pricing models
  • Effectively communicate the rationale and expected impact of subscription plan updates to key stakeholders, building consensus and alignment
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of subscription plan enhancements, working closely with engineering and design teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to ensure Audible's subscription products remain compelling and differentiated
  • Establish and track key performance metrics to measure the success of subscription plan updates, making data-driven adjustments as needed

  • Experience maintaining a product roadmap and leading delivery of value
  • Demonstrated experience in agile, lean product management processes on high-velocity teams
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs, and evaluate ambiguous new ideas- Demonstrated data driven leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong collaboration skills that allow you to work with both technical and non-technical partners
  • Product experience with customer facing media products and/or creators
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, autonomously, and cross-functionally
  • Go-to-market experience with media tech products
