The Opportunity ...:
As our Laser Operator– you will report to the Production Supervisor. This position's primary role is to operate and maintain the equipment (i.e Laser)
On a given day, you may:
- Laser programming and Conducts required inspections
- Follows all preventive maintenance plans and responsible for equipment conditions
- Complies with all Safety rules and regulations, including:
- Compliance with all written safety procedures, policies, and work practices.
- Reports all incidents including injuries and illnesses, near misses, property damage, chemical spills and fires to a Team Lead immediately.
- Participates in safety meetings, training, and committees.
- Reports all hazards, unsafe conditions or unsafe behaviors to a Team Lead.
- Intervenes with co-workers when unsafe behaviors are observed.
- Verifies material (thickness/grade/finish) to print before welding
- Labels all property and stores in proper area
- This position is considered a safety sensitive position, thus employee may be subjected to randomized drug testing.
- 3 years experience on Laser equipment
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to work from detailed prints and drawings as well as verbal instruction
- Ability to use shop arithmetic including decimals and fractions.
- You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
- This position is fully onsite.
