Accounting Manager/Supervisor

We are in the process of recruiting an Accounting Manager/Supervisor for our team in SACRAMENTO, California. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity in the financial industry. As an Accounting Manager/Supervisor, you will have a range of responsibilities, including the supervision of staff involved in accounts payable and accounts receivable services, as well as a deep understanding of accounting procedures and software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounts receivable and payable functions
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively for financial management
• Understand and apply ADP - Financial Services for various accounting tasks
• Manage and execute month-end close procedures, ensuring financial statements are accurate and delivered on time.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals for accurate reporting.
• Review and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise staff involved in accounts payable and accounts receivable services
• Handle general ledger tasks and maintain its accuracy
• Conduct auditing to ensure the correctness of financial data
• Manage billing functions and ensure timely completion
• Utilize in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting for various tasks.
• Candidate must have a minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential.
• Working knowledge with large ERP software is a must.
• In-depth understanding of general Accounting Functions is required.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is crucial.
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.
• Strong background in Auditing is a must.
• Proven experience in handling Billing Functions is required.
