Assigned Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for the position include, but won’t be limited to, the following:
- Verify survey data for site layout
- Oversee field crew operations
- Help in preparation of field as-builts
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Hour Options:
- General work hours are 7am - 5pm and 5-6 day work weeks are standard. Note that work hours and work days may vary (changes, additions, etc.) based on critical work activities and/or required safety supervision.
Physical Demands:
- Involves long periods of standing and/or extensive walking in all types of weather conditions.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed in a combination of field, and in project office. Environments such as noise levels, climate and weather conditions vary.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying and/or a minimum of 10 years commercial construction experience
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred)
- Some knowledge of point clouds and virtual design
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience in field verifications, site inspections and preparation of as-built drawings
- Strong interpretation skills of Civil Structural and Architectural plans
- Experience with Trimble Survey Equipment
- Ability to pass additional background checks, as required by project owner
- Current driver’s license, if required due to project location(s) and travel to different sites
- Maintaining certifications/licenses, as required for role.
