Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer Intern with expertise in website design and prototyping using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or any other relevant design software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and experience creating high-converting, SEO-friendly websites that deliver outstanding user experiences.
You will work closely with our product, development, and marketing teams to bring ideas to life in a collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.
Design high-converting website layouts and interfaces that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and SEO-friendly.
Develop high-fidelity mockups and prototypes using Figma, Adobe XD, or any other design tool you are proficient in.
Ensure designs are responsive, aligning with both mobile and desktop user experiences.
Conduct user research and gather feedback to continually improve the websites design and functionality.
Stay updated with the latest UI/UX, SEO, and web design trends, techniques, and best practices.
Work closely with developers to ensure seamless design implementation.
Optimize designs for speed, accessibility, and search engine performance (SEO).
Iterate designs based on feedback, A/B testing, and project goals.
Qualifications:
Experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role with a portfolio showcasing high-converting, SEO-friendly web design projects.
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or any other design tools is required.
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and SEO best practices.
Experience with responsive design and designing for mobile-first platforms.
Strong visual design skills with an eye for typography, colour, and layout.

Ability to solve complex design problems creatively and effectively.

Preferred: Experience designing for eCommerce or high-traffic websites.

Knowledge of SEO-friendly design and UX techniques that increase conversions.
Familiarity with usability testing and research methods.

Understanding of design systems and reusable component libraries.
