Vice President Account Management
The Vice President of Account Management will lead strategic customer relationships and account management operations for key customer accounts at Safran Passenger Innovations. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of strategic individuals that will drive customer satisfaction, retention, and new business growth through world-class account management strategies and engagement.
As a key leader within the organization, the VP will develop and lead a high-performing account management team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, forge long-term partnerships, and ensure operational excellence for each key account.This role requires close collaboration with Sales, Program Management, and Customer Support functions to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to managing customer accounts.
Core Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive account management strategy and a set of key performance indicators to achieve revenue growth and customer retention goals.
Build a team that nurtures senior-level relationships with key airline customers, becoming a trusted partner for their IFE and connectivity needs.
Personally serve as the account manager for at least one key customer account in addition to leading the account management team.
Partner with the Sales team to develop and execute account strategies, support contract negotiations, and identify upsell opportunities. Ensure smooth transitions from sales to program management post-award.
Work closely with Program Management to align on project timelines, internal resource allocation, and deliverables. Provide customer insights to ensure program success and proactively address potential issues.
Collaborate with Customer Operations to monitor and resolve customer issues effectively. Ensure a proactive approach to service delivery and customer satisfaction by leveraging support insights and feedback.
Requirements
Core Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
15+ years of experience in account management, sales, or customer success
12+ years in a Management role
7+ years of experience establishing, maintaining and fully owning department budget
Proven experience in the aviation, inflight entertainment, connectivity, or aerospace technology industries is highly desirable
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders
Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
Ability to build and lead a globally based team

Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $180,000 - 225,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
