We're searching for a DIRECT HIRE Quality Inspector for a rapidly growing Machine Shop in Circle Pines, MN. If you're looking for a challenge, prototyping parts in a job shop environment, this opportunity is for you. This is a 1st shift, Quality Inspector position requiring Zeiss CMM experience.

work hours: 7 AM - 4:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and GD&T
Setup and operate Zeiss CMMs, Vision Systems, various gauges, and other measurement tools
1st article, In process, and final inspections
Prototyping

Working with the team to make quality improvements

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes
manual lifting up to 30lbs
working up to 3 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

Blueprint Reading (1 year of experience is required)
Product Inspection
CMM Operation (1 year of experience is required)
GD and T
Aerospace Quality Inspection
