We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Vacaville, California. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including assisting with the preparation of financial reports, maintaining our company's financial records, and performing various accounting tasks.

• Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial reports
• Maintain and reconcile journal entries, ledgers, and accounts
• Conduct cost analysis and rate studies to aid in financial decision making
• Aid in the preparation and management of budgets for assigned accounts
• Support auditing tasks and prepare necessary audit paperwork
• Ensure compliance with all internal financial processes
• Update and maintain financial data in our databases to ensure accuracy and availability
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations
• Perform bank reconciliations, manage the general ledger, and maintain journal entries. • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with bank reconciliations
• Expertise in maintaining and managing the General Ledger
• Proficiency in preparing and posting Journal Entries
• Experience in executing Month End Close procedures
• Familiarity with NetSuite software for accounting tasks
• Knowledge of Oracle Financial software for efficient accounting
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for various accounting functions
• Experience with SAP Business software for financial management
• Strong understanding of manufacturing industry accounting standards
