Customer Service Rep /Bank Teller

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Rep / Bank Teller in Vancouver, WA.
- Note: This is a 6 month contract covering for someone on company leave so while it's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, it is not guaranteed to go long term (although it is always possible.)
The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing a positive banking experience for our clients. As the face of the bank, the teller will handle a variety of financial transactions while building strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
- Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and money transfers.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding bank products, services, and policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions while adhering to bank policies and security procedures.
- Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking services (e.g., loans, credit cards, or investment options).
- Resolve customer issues in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Balance cash drawer daily and ensure proper reconciliation of all transactions.
- Follow all bank compliance and security standards to minimize risk and ensure confidentiality.
- Promote and cross-sell bank products and services that meet customer needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience (preferably in banking, retail, or hospitality).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic knowledge of banking regulations, procedures, and cash handling.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computers, POS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
