Customer Service Rep /Bank Teller

KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Customer Service Rep / Bank Teller in Vancouver, WA.
  • Note: This is a 6 month contract covering for someone on company leave so while it's a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, it is not guaranteed to go long term (although it is always possible.)
Job Overview:

The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing a positive banking experience for our clients. As the face of the bank, the teller will handle a variety of financial transactions while building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service.
  • Process a variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and money transfers.
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding bank products, services, and policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions while adhering to bank policies and security procedures.
  • Identify customer needs and refer them to appropriate banking services (e.g., loans, credit cards, or investment options).
  • Resolve customer issues in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and ensure proper reconciliation of all transactions.
  • Follow all bank compliance and security standards to minimize risk and ensure confidentiality.
  • Promote and cross-sell bank products and services that meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience (preferably in banking, retail, or hospitality).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Basic knowledge of banking regulations, procedures, and cash handling.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computers, POS systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
