Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general radiography, and a passion for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position requires proficiency in performing radiographic procedures and ensuring a high standard of care and safety for patients.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (Community College, MBO).
- Certifications:
- Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a General Radiographer in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Proficient in performing diagnostic radiographic exams, including X-ray procedures, while adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to operate and maintain radiologic equipment in compliance with established protocols.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Languages:
- English: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
