We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Thunderbolt, Georgia, United States. The role primarily revolves around the Wholesale Distribution industry, and you will be acting as a liaison between various stakeholders such as the manufacturing plant, warehouses, and customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between manufacturing plant, warehouses, and customers, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
  • Process and manage customer inquiries, orders, and complaints with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Assist in the implementation of an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
  • Coordinate with shipping companies, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics personnel to manage transportation from factory to warehouse and to customers.
  • Conduct analysis of various suppliers to ensure cost-effective deals.
  • Support sales and marketing efforts in customer acquisition and retention.
  • Assist in sending out product samples and organizing the stockroom.
  • Execute plans to gain, regain and retain customers.
  • Assist other Customer Service Representatives and Office Manager in inventory and group tasks as a backup.
  • Proactively identify issues through business/sales analysis/AR/inventory status reports and determine solutions.
  • Maintain office equipment and supplies, requisitioning as required.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience in Call Center Customer Service
  • Ability to handle Inbound and Outbound Calls
  • Familiarity with Intermodel Logistics and Service Delivery Management
  • Proficient in Data Entry and Email Correspondence
  • Experience in Order Entry and Scheduling Appointments
  • Post-Sales Support • Minimum of two years experience in a customer service role, preferably within the wholesale distribution industry
  • Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls in a call center environment
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to deliver high-quality service
  • Experience in data entry and order entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent email correspondence skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
  • Knowledge of Intermodal Logistics and Service Delivery Management
  • Experience in providing post-sales support
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
