Customer Service Representative

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Thunderbolt, Georgia, United States. The role primarily revolves around the Wholesale Distribution industry, and you will be acting as a liaison between various stakeholders such as the manufacturing plant, warehouses, and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing plant, warehouses, and customers, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
- Process and manage customer inquiries, orders, and complaints with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and updated records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Assist in the implementation of an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics personnel to manage transportation from factory to warehouse and to customers.
- Conduct analysis of various suppliers to ensure cost-effective deals.
- Support sales and marketing efforts in customer acquisition and retention.
- Assist in sending out product samples and organizing the stockroom.
- Execute plans to gain, regain and retain customers.
- Assist other Customer Service Representatives and Office Manager in inventory and group tasks as a backup.
- Proactively identify issues through business/sales analysis/AR/inventory status reports and determine solutions.
- Maintain office equipment and supplies, requisitioning as required.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Experience in Call Center Customer Service
- Ability to handle Inbound and Outbound Calls
- Familiarity with Intermodel Logistics and Service Delivery Management
- Proficient in Data Entry and Email Correspondence
- Experience in Order Entry and Scheduling Appointments
- Post-Sales Support • Minimum of two years experience in a customer service role, preferably within the wholesale distribution industry
- Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound/outbound calls in a call center environment
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to deliver high-quality service
- Experience in data entry and order entry with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent email correspondence skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars efficiently
- Knowledge of Intermodal Logistics and Service Delivery Management
- Experience in providing post-sales support
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
