Staff Nurse, Cardiac Catherization Laboratory

Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of the Staff Nurse position is to provide direct patient care, perform nursing procedures, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for diagnostic and interventional cardiology patients in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting as observed by the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager, and patient/family feedback unless otherwise noted.

Qualifications:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey. At least one (1) year of experience in special procedures, radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is required. Applicants with a minimum of one (1) year of recent Critical Care, Telemetry or Emergency Department nursing experience will also be considered.

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required. Completion of 6‐ 8 weeks Cath Lab procedure training with an experienced nurse preceptor for newly hired Cath Lab nurses.
