We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient private practice full-time in Danville, VA. We are looking for a compassionate provider, who enjoys helping others, is a great communicator, and a team player to help us provide joint and trigger point injections within our physical and regen medicine practice.
About us:Within our integrated physical medicine and rehab practice, a team of providers evaluate our patients, looking at both the symptoms that brought them in, and at the work, lifestyle, dietary, and genetic factors that are at play contributing to the patients overall health.
We then meet as a team to discuss each case and develop a personalized treatment program specific to each patients healthcare needs. Our comprehensive approach mandates that our providers not just see patients as their symptoms, but as the individual with many interactive connected systems.
We offer cutting-edge treatments utilizing the latest technologies, moving not the realm of health advocacy and wellness coaching. Our knowledgeable and experienced team consists of medical doctors, physician assistants, chiropractors, technicians, and support staff.
Duties: Patient exam|evaluations- functional medical exams (HPI, medical history, review pertinent medical records|imaging)
Order and review appropriate tests- (read X-rays) Evaluate clinical dataDiagnosis and Treatment plan formulation
Perform treatments to include Joint injection|trigger point injections (hips, knees, shoulders)
Patient education on diagnosis, treatment plan options and expectations, patient goals, and post care treatments
Documentation- accurate and timely
Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive care
Qualifications: Graduation from an Accredited NP|PA program
PA|NP license in VAIn network with BCBS, Cigna, Aetna and Medicare preferred but not required
Experience in Joint Injection|Trigger Point injection preferred or be willing to be trained
Experience in Ortho|Physical Medicine and Rehab or Pain Management preferred
Schedule: Monday thru ThursdaySalary (range): $120k-$130k per year Salary (DOE)
