Process Engineer (Relocation Help Offered)--Pleasant Prairie, WI
This is a newly created position due to growth with an extrusion, converting and printing company in Southeast Wisconsin. The Process Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, quality, and efficiency of the team's manufacturing processes.This individual will be responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, managing new product trials, troubleshooting production issues, and optimizing operations to meet production targets and quality standards.
Education and /or Experience:
Bachelors degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics film production.
Strong knowledge of film manufacturing, flexographic printing, and/or bag making/converting processes.
Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with SQF is a plus.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Experience and advanced knowledge of ERP software required. Knowledge of Epicor is preferred.
