The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in cloud management, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to lead a team of cloud engineers and administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and execute cloud strategies that align with business goals and ensure scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including computing, storage, and network resources across multiple cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cloud engineers and administrators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud performance, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security of cloud resources.
- Cost Management: Implement and manage cost control measures to optimize cloud expenditures and ensure budget compliance.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure meets security and compliance standards, including data protection, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Incident Management: Develop and maintain incident response plans, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and manage disaster recovery processes.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance cloud infrastructure and operations.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and strong understanding of networking, security, and automation.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage projects effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders.Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
