Sr. HVAC Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. HVAC Design Engineer for immediate hire in Lititz, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
• Collaborate with suppliers' technical support to identify materials and components meeting required specifications.
• Secure stamped drawings and state certifications, working with external and internal resources.

• Consistently provide project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress.
• Estimate costs and submit bids for engineering, construction, or extraction projects.
• Recommend utility or energy services that minimize carbon footprints.
• Design mechanical systems integrated with alternative systems, such as natural ventilation, to improve energy efficiency.
• Apply knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes, energy codes, ASHRAE standards, and other building codes.
• Lead mechanical HVAC design engineering towards high-performance systems, evaluating system alternatives for increased energy efficiency.
• Utilize a detailed understanding of architectural/engineering document production and Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Revit 2022.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Building Automation Systems and Controls, including authoring sequences of operation and developing design control documentation.
