Superintendent - Higher Education Housing Construction

About Our Client

Client is a strong commercial construction General Contractor that is continuing to expand their higher education construction division. Potential for career advancement and leadership opportunities is high.

• Primary site leader of all subordinate superintendents, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Establish project plan, maintain weekly progress and pulse of project.
• Oversee and coordinate all operations at the job site.
• Supervise labor and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely service delivery.
• Foster positive relationships with owners, design consultants, and project managers.
• Collaborate with local inspectors and utility representatives for compliance assurance.
• Strictly enforce Safety Program and manage the Quality Control Program.
• Prepare and maintain detailed short-term schedules.
• Manage accurate invoice payment process and financial management of the project costs.
• Address and resolve daily operational issues in the field.
• Prepare daily reports with all manpower and significant activities.

• 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry as superintendent
• Projects require Southeast travel
• Experience with higher education construction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge in Construction Management or related field, preferred

• Base Salary $100,000 - $120,000 + Benefits
