How you make a difference:
This position is based in Nashville, TN. We are seeking candidates willing to live and work in Nashville, TN; this position will not offer relocation.
The Financial Analyst role involves monitoring and maintaining all aspects of accounting and financial analysis for the company, providing guidance to assist management in making business decisions. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to prepare and analyze financial reports, forecasts, and trends.The Financial Analyst is also responsible for identifying financial risks and opportunities and making recommendations to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with operations team to identify corrective action items for maximizing earnings for site/division.
- Serves as auxiliary finance contact for site operations staff, client partners, and regional operations staff in the absence of primary respondents.
- Maintains working knowledge of contracts for efficient and effective transaction verification.
- Prepares monthly external contract reporting, client billing, revenue recognition, reimbursements, incurred cost, cost sharing, contract staffing, and offsite services.
- Assists with monthly close, results reviews, and ad hoc projects as directed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business or Finance
- 0-3 years prior accounting/financial analysis; experience is strongly preferred.
