Operations Supervisor

Overview:

National Debt Relief is seeking an EUS Operations Supervisor to join our growing technology team. Reporting to the End User Services Manager, the Supervisor’s primary role is managing and maintaining computer inventory and preparing the equipment for deployment while overseeing a small group of Technicians.

The position will be responsible for managing shipments, preparing user accounts and ensuring that deployment procedures and OLAs are in place for all deployment requests. The candidate must be team oriented, customer service driven, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day team leadership of Operations Technicians
  • Responsible for managing inventory of hardware devices and software licenses
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ITSM to ensure equipment levels are sufficient to meet organizational needs
  • Prepare reports and metrics on inventory levels, hardware deployment and any other reports as requested by management
  • Partner with HR to manage Onboarding and Offboarding requests
  • Partner with the Shipping team to manage all computer shipments
  • Order hardware when required from reseller
  • Package and ship IT equipment to remote employees
  • Unbox, label, store and update inventory
  • Create and maintain end users accounts and mailboxes in Active Directory and Office 365
  • Build workstations using company standard image and software
  • Profile workstations for deployment to remote end users
  • Provide IT onboarding training to new remote employees
  • Process returned equipment from current and former employees
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of knowledgebase articles for IT staff and employees
  • Work on special tasks and participate in projects as required

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven experience supporting a large environment comprised of Windows OS and Mac OSX
  • Strong knowledge and support of Microsoft office applications
  • Prior experience creating and maintaining Active Directory user accounts and O365 user mailboxes
  • Prior experience providing remote user support
  • Prior experience utilizing IT Ticketing systems
  • Prior experience managing and maintaining hardware and software asset management systems
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and critical thinker
  • Organized, team oriented, with go getter attitude
  • Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and demands
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to deal with staff at all levels
  • Collaborative approach and strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in IT Operations or related IT discipline with responsibility for inventory management and hardware deployment required
  • Prior IT team leader or related supervisory experience preferred

Compensation Information:
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for each position across the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

This good faith pay range is provided in compliance with NYC law and the laws of other jurisdictions that may require a salary range in job postings. The salary for this position is $88,500 to $109,500 annual.
