Description:Sr. Mainframe Architect who is an organized professional with excellent communication skills and senior level experience. This individual will support a banking industry global leader systems modernization project. As a team member you will be part of a high performing team of executives within a 10,000+ and growing, global organization developing and implementing technology solutions for its clients and partners.
Responsibilities: Cooperates closely with core Mainframe customer team.
Assesses how the current legacy systems are working, what are the key functionalities, inefficiencies, other systems dependencies or code which could be removed during modernization phase.Documents findings.
Reviews technical documentation available, defining architecture and solution design.
Plans further modernizations.
Mandatory Requirements: Minimum 10+ years of similar professional experience.
Minimum 5+ years of banking industry experience.Extensive Mainframe (COBOL) experience.
Strong Java experience.
Strong financial banking systems, architectural/solution design experience.
Outstanding communication skills, highly organized and cooperative.
