Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to patients
- Complete testing and treatments prescribed by veterinarian
- Under the guidance of veterinarian monitor anesthetic procedures
- Perform anesthetic dental cleanings of canine and feline patients
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care
Skills:
- Aseptic surgical assistant techniques
- Anesthetic monitoring
- Canine and feline dental radiography
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and procedures
