MRF/ Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic

MRF/Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic to our team to support the growth.

This position is responsible for the maintenance of heavy equipment and the material recycling system.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities/Skills include:
- Maintaining & repairing all yellow iron (heavy equipment) – Conveyor system, Volvo, Morbark Grinder and Doppstadt Shredder
- Diagnosing and repairing all engines (gas & diesel), transmissions, hydraulics, electric motors (5 – 50 hp)
- Utilizing service manuals and schematics to set up and perform repairs
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have:
- 2+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
- Prior experience utilizing diagnostic tools
- Welding experience helpful, but not necessary
- Own set of mechanic tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects 50+ pounds
