About the job
The Health and Life Sciences Solution Product Management team is looking for a Life Sciences Product Manager to create new product features that support data engineers, data scientists, clinical researchers and life sciences professionals in navigating the analytics lifecycle more effectively in areas like data management, analytic model development, deployment, visualization and governance.Our team works cross-functionally to set the vision, strategy, roadmap to deliver a best-in-class portfolio of analytics solutions for the Health and Life Sciences industry.
As a Product Manager, you will:
- Define and prioritize product requirements and roadmap based on business drivers, customer inputs, market direction and field contribution.
- Present product vision, roadmap and software demonstrations to internal stakeholders, senior management, customers, press, analysts and industry conferences.
- Perform product discovery to translate insights into technical, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Influence product direction by analyzing external market trends, competition, opportunities that impact the user, and capabilities of the platform.
- Define user personas and write user stories to build a robust backlog of requirements.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritize requirements and client enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with development teams to communicate backlog priorities, solutions design and ensuring stories are organized and sized appropriately with the required acceptance criteria prior to execution.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management in the software/technology industry.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements to analytical and product needs.
- Proven ability to map market and client requirements into product features that provide customer value.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- Full understanding of the product development lifecycle and experience using agile methodologies to deliver software products or technology platforms to market.
- Solid understand of the life sciences value chain related to drug discovery, clinical research, development, supply chain, and commercialization.

- Experience delivering applications and/or solutions on top of a Platform offering
- Experience working with a Platform-as-a-Service business model
- Experience working with Life Sciences software products designed for commercial use cases: sales, marketing, market access
- Understanding of Life Sciences analytics, coding and data standard concepts: SAS, R, Python, CDISC, SDTM, ADa M
- Understanding of Life Sciences clinical trials lifecycle
- MBA or other advanced degree is a plus
