We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Watertown, New York. In this role, you will be expected to handle tasks related to maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and resolving any financial discrepancies.

Responsibilities:- Processing invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Utilize software such as QuickBooks to maintain financial records
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial data is up-to-date and accurate
- Engage in account reconciliation and check runs regularly
- Manage data entry tasks related to accounts payable
- Code invoices accurately to ensure proper categorization
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and Oracle for various financial functions
- Act as a point of contact for resolving customer inquiries related to their accounts
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. • Proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP) management
- Familiarity with check runs and coding invoices
- Proficient in data entry and invoice processing
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
