Public Accounting firm in the Media, PA area has a need for a success-driven Senior Auditor to ensure that the financial operations and controls meet standards and are error-free. This Senior Auditor will assist the Audit Manager with keeping policies and procedures under compliance, also playing a key role in leading and executing internal audits, evaluating internal controls, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements for operational efficiency and risk management.
Ideally, this company wants a Senior Auditor who will define potential risks to the company’s objectives, collect and analyze complex data to draw logical conclusions.
Primary Duties- Complete audits on time and submit reports to management
- Lead/Review audit team’s work
- Implement effective risk and control assessments
- Establish risk-based audit programs
- Communicate findings and suggestions to all levels of management
- Carry out appraisal to determine the suitability of internal control designs
- Collaborate with Audit Manager to determine the scope of review
The ideal Senior Auditor have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Senior Auditor role include and are not limited to:
- 3+ years Public Accounting experience w/ focus on Audit
- CPA required
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Excel)
- US GAAP/ US GAAS knowledge
- Excellent attention to detail
