Engineering Technician

Will be required to handle test stands, set-up, perform and monitor testing activities.

responsibilities:

• Work on assignments of simple to moderately complex nature, exercising judgment in problem-solving and providing routine recommendations.
• Typically requires no instruction for routine work but may receive general instructions for new assignments.
• Apply basic techniques and procedures to projects.
• Responsibilities include a wide range of research and development laboratory tasks and experiments.
• Make detailed observations, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Maintain medical device laboratory equipment and manage inventory levels for laboratory supplies.
• May be responsible for writing experimental reports, summaries, and protocols.

Skills:

• solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including word processing, data entry, and email.
• Fundamental knowledge of science and/or mathematics.
• Team-oriented with a preference for a mechanical or electrical background.
• solid documentation skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and think outside the box to troubleshoot issues.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 1-2 years of mechanical experience is strongly preferred, or engineering graduates with some internship experience.
• Basic computer skills are required.
