What You'll Do:

As RVP Field Operations, you'll...
  • Develop and execute regional growth strategy to drive revenue in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Build an intentional office culture and define and broaden market branding with internal and external customers and brokers to drive results.
  • Lead, manage, coach, and develop leaders, consultants, relationship managers and account executives in the profitable acquisition, retention, and growth of business in assigned region.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required, plus 8+ years of related work experience
  • Formal leadership experience required
  • Group benefits experience preferred
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain all required state licenses (i.e., Life & Health License), as outlined by the Principal Financial Group within 90 days. Active license preferred
  • Requires significant leadership and analytical skills as well as excellent skills in problem solving, oral and written communication
  • Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building
  • Ability to run high stakes meetings internally and externally
  • Must have strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Requires ability to develop effective relationships and motivate producer behavior as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential
  • May spend up to 40% of time out of the office in face-to-face contact with customers and brokers
  • Some travel may be required, including overnight stays (~25%)
Salary Range Information:
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.

Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range: $137000 - $185000 / year

Time Off Program:

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Additional Information:

Location

Primary location will be in Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD or Charlotte, NC with regional travel expectations.
