Overview:
The Operations Supervisor directs, manages, supervises and coordinates event setup activities and operations for the facility and provides responsible staff assistance to the Director of Operations.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $20 to $25.

This position will remain open until May 2, 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor as assigned
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times
- Primary duties include building conversion for various events
- Setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, other event seating, basketball court, and stages, etc.
- Responsile for leading and supervising a teram of changeover staff
- Assist Operations Managers with projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) or more years’ experience in an operations position in an arena, convention center, public assembly facility or similar location; with knowledge of set up/housekeeping and event coordination
- Basic computer skills in a Windows format including typing, data entry and email
- Advanced computer skills and experience with MS Word, Outlook, Excel preferred
- Ability to effectively lead a team and manage in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Knowledge of OSHA standards / requirements
- Forklift certification or ability to acquire within 90 days of employment
- Possess superior interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing
- Self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
- Possession of a valid Driver’s License preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work long hours including a varied schedule of days, nights, weekends and holidays
