Full Charge Bookkeeper

Robert Half is actively seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our high-performing team. This role requires excellent organization skills, an eye for detail and a diligent work ethic. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all general accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and execute all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare, review, and make necessary adjustments to financial statements.
• Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
• Participate in period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, annually) and assist in the financial audit process.
• Prepare annual budgets, as well as financial forecasts.
• Stay compliant with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Generate reports and statements for management as required.
• Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper.
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports.
• Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
