Aardvark is looking to hire a hands-on, curious, uptempo individual to join our Production Team! In this position you will assist with all aspects of project management, vehicle build, and program launch process. You will learn and soon master our process from start to finish; from design and vehicle specification to budget and vendor management to vehicle customization.

Please note that this position does involve driving and servicing vehicles. Applicants are required to have a valid drivers license, able to obtain a DOT Med-Card and be comfortable driving a 20+ Box Truck.

RESPONSIBILITIES | ACCOUNTABILITIES

The job responsibilities of our Production Assistant/Helper include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting our asset Production team with final fit & finish elements of our custom vehicles
  • Building and maintaining project timelines, action list, and spend using project management software
  • Help set up and detail assets for showcasing to client
  • Support transportation of vehicles or supplies to vendors/clients
  • Research, contact, and coordinate vendors and suppliers
  • Research materials as requested, procuring within or below budget
  • Responsible for the ordering, receiving, and returning of materials, tools, and supplies
  • Other additional duties and functions as assigned on an as needed basis
  • Up to 20% travel (expenses paid for by Aardvark)

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Experience / Skills:

  • At least 2 years in a Maintenance Shop /Construction/Production/Technician experience
  • Exposure to communicating and coordinating with vendors timelines and budgets
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to drive a Box Truck / Van / Other - DOT Med-card required
  • Comfortable with technology and utilizing a variety of project management apps to track actions
  • Comfortable with Google Suite
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in a warehouse production environment
  • Follow safety procedure and guidelines
  • This position is on site, based in the Philadelphia area; candidates must live in the area or be open to relocation. Must have reliable transportation.
  • General Hours are Monday
  • Friday 9:00 AM
  • 6:00 PM but can vary depending on project.

Success will be measured by:

  • All Projects are up to date in our project management software
  • Tasks assigned are in completed by the request due date
  • Projects are completed on or under budget
  • A growing knowledge of Aardvarks processes

Preferred Experience:

  • Construction, mechanic shop, warehousing, technician
  • Large box truck driving
