We are looking for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to contribute to our team in the non-profit sector. Based in New York, the role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. As a Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include entering client services data in a timely and accurate manner into specific databases, managing and updating these databases, and participating in special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:- Accurately enter all client services data into program-specific and funder-specific databases in a timely manner
- Manage and maintain databases designed specifically for tracking client information and services
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of client information
- Assist in the resolution of any database-related issues.
- Prior experience in a Data Entry Clerk role or similar is preferred.
- Proficiency in using data entry software and tools.
- Demonstrable ability to type quickly and accurately.
- High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of databases and data analysis procedures.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the non-profit sector is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in data entry or administration would be a plus.
