Manufacturing Operations Systems Specialist opportunity for a direct hire east of Green Bay, WI. Seeking the right operations subject matter expert to be a key player of an operational excellence integration across several midwest operations.
The right person will ensure the sustainability of Manufacturing Operating Systems in order to maintain consistent, company wide manufacturing excellence. This person will implement operation system tools, lead improvement work sessions, and provide continuous support to the manufacturing teams allowing minimization of the plant's operational costs.
Exceptional organizational & communication skills as well as the ability to lead are key factors to this position.
Must have a BS degree along with a minimum of 5 years directly related experience in continuous improvement, production, quality, or maintenance. Must be willing and able to travel 50-75% domestically for extended periods

responsibilities:
- Implement operation system tools as well as philosophy throughout manufacturing ensuring implementation and sustainability
- Demonstrate commitment to operating system by advocating zero loss mindset, work to standard, employee ownership and servant leadership
- Conduct health checks of Daily Management System (DMS) on all shifts and identify measures for improvement opportunities to eliminate top losses
- Lead improvement work sessions using internal manufacturing Operating System tools
- Act as a support to the manufacturing teams and coach their daily actions to include handling schedule coverage, advanced training, for operational excellence as well as potential advancement opportunities
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering along with min of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing (continuous improvement, production, quality, or maintenance)
- Hands on knowledge of related Operating Systems is required.
- Food consumer packaged goods experience preferred.
- Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Must be willing and able to travel 50-75% domestically for extended periods
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish preferred.
