Production Associate - Now Hiring
If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy a hands-on role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! Key Responsibilities: Glass Inspection: Perform visual inspections on glass products to check for defects such as cracks, chips, and imperfections.
Ensure that products meet quality standards before they proceed to the next stage of production. Machine Operation: Operate and monitor glass production machinery, including cutting, shaping, and finishing equipment, ensuring smooth operation and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintenance: Perform routine checks on machines to ensure they are functioning properly. Troubleshoot basic issues, and notify the maintenance team for more complex repairs when needed. Quality Control: Record inspection data, document product defects, and work closely with supervisors to resolve quality issues.
Ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from hazards. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and improve processes.
Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues or concerns on the production line. Production Efficiency: Meet or exceed daily production targets while ensuring products meet quality standards. Requirements: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, machine operation, or quality inspection is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. Skills: Strong attention to detail and quality control. Ability to operate machinery safely and effectively.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Basic math and documentation skills. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. Availability: Must be able to work on a rotating 2-3-2 shift schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
