Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Telemetry Nurse, internally referred to as our Med/Tele RN at Providence Medical Center a member of Prime Healthcare. A dedicated nurse specializing in attending to patients within med/surg units, especially those needing cardiac monitoring.Our RN is instrumental in overseeing the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of individuals needing cardiac surveillance during their hospitalization.

Hours: 12hr Shifts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):
- assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status, to create individualized care plans
- monitor patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs using telemetry equipment, which allows for remote monitoring of patients' heart rates and rhythms
- communicate with the physician about changes in the patient's clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology
- administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous medications, and monitor patients for any adverse reactions
- provide hands-on care to patients, including wound care, administering treatments, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing emotional support
We are looking for #RN or #registerednurse to work on our #tele or #telemetry unit to help patients with #cardiac issues and monitor #EKG.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Medical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
