We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and streamline our commercial lighting project execution. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality delivery of lighting upgrade projects always with 100% customer happiness as the goal.

This is a remote-based role, but candidates must be located in the 9-county San Francisco Bay Area to efficiently access job sites.
Candidates must have a home office setup or can work from a company-provided co-working space.
Frequent travel to project sites across the Bay Area & beyond is required (40-75% fieldwork expected).
Mileage for work-related travel will be reimbursed.
Some weekend or night work may be needed based on project schedules.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure successful project execution.
Ensure all lighting upgrade projects are completed successfully, with 100% customer happiness.Conduct audits and lighting inventories and create LED upgrade proposals using lighting software.
Conduct pre-inspections of sold jobs; confirming scope and specification details, identifying upsell opportunities and assessing installation conditions.
Update project details in project software based on pre-inspections; create project info sheets for installation teams.
Manage RFQ (Request for Quote) process when subcontracting labor.
Handle ordering of materials and scheduling of installations to ensure seamless execution.
Lead installation kick-off walkthroughs with the project manager, address issues as they arise, and oversee final walkthroughs.
Hire and manage installation crews as needed to meet project demands.
Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or construction management.
5+ years field experience installing commercial retrofit lighting solutions.Strong understanding of lighting systems and electrical knowledge.
Experience managing multiple projects from start to finish.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot installation challenges and upsell opportunities.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate teams and ensure smooth execution.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently on-site.
Familiarity with project management software (EcoInsight experience is a plus).
