Mammography Technologist - MT-24-16018

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

The Mammography Technologist will assist with breast ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy, breast localization, and other radiologic-guided procedures at the Breast Center. This role involves performing diagnostic and screening mammographic examinations on patients of various age groups, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mammographic imaging for needle localization and stereotactic procedures.
• Assist in ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Select and operate equipment, ensuring proper technical factors based on patient needs.
• Develop x-ray films and complete patient requisitions.
• Assist with quality control procedures and documentation as delegated.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and follow-up care.
• Document pertinent information in the Breast Center chart.
• Modify care delivery to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Licensed Mammography Technologist.
• Must have ARRT certification and an active Diagnostic Radiography License.
• Obtain mammography certification within the first three months of employment.
