Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications and maintain accurate records
• Manage an extensive customer base and their respective open balances
• Actively collaborate with sales and branch personnel to address issues with progressive job billing agreements
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal partners regarding collections issues
• Regularly review your portfolio to ensure receivables are addressed and uncollected accounts are escalated appropriately
• Resolve account discrepancies professionally, timely, and courteously
• Support updates of accounting systems related to accounts receivable
• Assist in cash applications by posting customer payments including receipts from lockbox, mail, and credit cards
• Answer inbound customer calls and provide necessary documentation upon request
• Coordinate with other departments such as sales, operations, and accounting to ensure data and transaction accuracy
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and contractual terms.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is mandatory
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is a necessity
• Must possess the ability to execute Billing tasks efficiently
• Knowledge of Cash Applications is essential
• Demonstrated experience in Cash Collections is required
• Proficiency in Commercial Collections is a must
• Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in managing Aged Receivables is necessary
• Ability to generate and interpret Aged Reports is essential
• Familiarity with the NetSuite software is a significant advantage
