What You’ll Do:

• Process and verify invoices with accuracy
• Maintain records of payments and expenditures
• Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Support month-end closing tasks
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth operations

What We’re Looking For:

• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting is a plus
• exceptional data entry skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks
• A positive attitude and a team player mindset

education: Bachelors

• Generating reports: Creating periodic reports related to accounts payable
• Responding to inquiries: Responding to inquiries from vendors and internal staff
• Maintaining records: Maintaining and updating an accounts payable ledger, cash applications, and chargebacks
• Setting up new accounts: Setting up new accounts when changes occur
• Verifying invoices: Checking the accuracy and completeness of invoices
• Processing payments: Paying vendors, which may involve verifying federal ID numbers, reviewing purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies
• Reconciling accounts: Reconciling accounts payable statements, sub-ledgers, and general ledgers
• Researching and resolving issues: Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues with customers or vendors

• AP (5 years of experience is required)
• Maintaining Records (2 years of experience is required)
• Bookkeeping (2 years of experience is required)
• Financial Statements (1 year of experience is required)
