Senior Reinsurance Broker - Claims
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with both the technical teams and reinsurers to address any queries, ensuring timely and effective agreements.
This position is crucial for maintaining strong relationships and facilitating smooth communication between all parties involved.
What You Can Expect:
The purpose of this role is to serve as a single point of escalation for the technical teams when a market-facing visit is necessary to secure agreements. You will coordinate and chair regular meetings with reinsurers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.Additionally, you will provide consistent feedback to colleagues at all levels. This position will be based in London and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

We Will Count on You To:
Demonstrate effective communication and negotiation skills to engage with markets, clients, and stakeholders.
Maintain a strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy in claims documentation and record-keeping.
Exhibit proficiency in using claims management software and other relevant tools.
Work independently while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Possess a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to Pro-Rata and Excess of Loss (XOL) claims handling.
What You Need to Have:
Strong knowledge of reinsurance principles, practices, and procedures.
Experience in Pro-Rata and XOL claims handling within the insurance or reinsurance industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and evaluate complex claims.
Collaborating with underwriters and claims adjusters to resolve complex or disputed claims.
Experience of working at a senior level within the reinsurance or insurance sector is essential.
Experience of working with all aspects of post placement activities.
Ability to analyse data, seeking trends and translating this into valued insights for the business and our clients.
Be able to articulate and demonstrate positive results for the business.
